Terms of Service

What ceevo is

ceevo is a service for saving links and short notes, organising them into folders, and optionally publishing a folder as a public page. It is operated by Evita Kate Miller, Riga, Latvia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using ceevo you agree to these terms.

Your account

  • You sign in with a Google, Apple or GitHub account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use ceevo.
  • You choose a username. Usernames that impersonate other people or brands, or that are offensive, may be changed or removed.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your profile, folders, links and notes permanently.

Your content

  • Everything you save stays yours. We claim no ownership of your links, notes or folders.
  • Private folders are visible only to you. When you mark a folder as public, anyone with the link can view it, and it may be indexed by search engines. You can make it private again at any time.
  • By making a folder public you give us permission to display its contents on that public page for as long as it stays public.
  • Link previews (titles, descriptions, images) are fetched from the pages you save and belong to their respective owners.

Acceptable use

Do not use ceevo to store or publish content that is illegal, that infringes someone else’s rights, that is malicious (malware, phishing) or that harasses others. Do not attempt to access other people’s private data or to disrupt the service. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

The service

  • ceevo is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance and nothing you have saved will be held hostage.
  • We aim to keep ceevo available and your data safe, but we provide the service “as is” without warranties. We are not liable for lost data or downtime beyond what the law requires. Export or back up anything you cannot afford to lose.
  • We may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut ceevo down, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and a way to export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use ceevo after that means you accept the new terms.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Questions go to hello@ceevo.me.
